The ultimate trailer hitch for velomobiles. After uncoupling, only a thin sheet of metal remains visible on the vehicle. No dangling coupling parts, no protruding parts that mess up your shins and aerodynamics. Aesthetically correct.
The trailer part can be mounted on Thule (formerly Chariot) ball couplings and then remains on the trailer.
Coupling: Insert the trailer part and turn it 90° until it clicks into place.
Uncoupling: pull locking pin and turn 90°
Coupling and uncoupling can be done one-handed and in just a few seconds
To couple and uncouple, the drawbar must be roughly aligned with the coupling. To make turning easier, you can treat the rubber ring with talcum powder or soap.
Trailer load: The intended trailer weight was 60kg, of which a maximum of 20kg would be vertical on the ball as a support load. More at your own discretion. There is no experience with durability, so please check regularly and replace if there is visible wear.
Mounting the rubber ball:
The rubber ball is not included and must be purchased separately "online". Search term: Thule ball elastomer.
The vehicle side of the coupling is also necessary for it to work and is also not included here. It is available separately here in the shop, for side mounting and rear mounting.
